Things to be thankful for

Hello, All! I just wanted to say hello and tell you how thankful we are! Life has been so good to us. And although we know so many people are struggling these days, we feel fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends to share our lives with.

This year we've had some amazing things happen. However, we have been whitness to some sad things in our lives too - friends and family members struggling with illness and death. So, we know that it's not all rosey, but we still can't help but feel blessed to have such wonderful things in our lives.

We purchased our first home. Wow!!! It seems like such an accomplishment, as hard as it was, and is, it's so nice to know that we have a place of our own. Or that we're borrowing from the bank for the next 30 years.

We had a beautiful baby girl - Bryn Taylor. And what a little love she is! She has such a sweet personality. She smiles a lot and giggles. She adores her big sister, Ashlyn. Her eyes light up when she enters the room.

Ashlyn is such a big girl now. She is fully potty trained (thank God) and she speaks very well! She loves to color, read, dance, and sing and play with her dolls. She loves all the Disney princesses, Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. She is a girl through and through! We haven't enrolled her in dance classes yet, but plan to soon. We are taking her to Disneyland next month for the first time. She can't wait to see the castle.

Our brother/in-law, Jason, got married to a beautiful and generous girl, Miranda. She loves to spoil our girls, and we appreciate that. She has made a fine addition to our family and we look forward to building memories with her and to watching her life with Jason grow.

We wish you much love and happiness throughout this holiday season!

We love you,

Christine, Brian and Girls
